Nach vielen Tassen Kaffee und Espresso fing unsere Siebträgermaschine von Sage an, undicht zu werden. Genauer gesagt: Aus der Kupplung zwischen Siebträger und Maschine drangen Kaffeetropfen aus. Nach anfänglichem Raten, woran das liegen könnte kam die Erkenntnis, dass durch das dauernde Pressen und Quetschen der Dichtung bei gleichzeitiger Drehbewegung auch die beste Dichtung irgendwann "durch" ist.Diese Ersatzdichtung kam superschnell geliefert, ist absolut passgenau für den Metallring der Maschine gefertigt und war ruck-zuck eingebaut. Ergebnis: Absolut dicht wie beim Neukauf der Maschine.

Die Silikon Dampfringe passen in meinen SAGE Duo Temp Pro Brüh Kopf und halten dicht.Am Anfang ist es etwas schwerer den Siebträger im Brüh Kopf zu befestigen, mit der Zeit wird es dann etwas leichter.Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, werde einen Nachtrag schreiben.

Der Dichtung fehlt es an Höhe, die Orginal Dichtung ist fast 0,5mm höher, dadurch kann sich der Druck nicht richtig aufbauen und das Wasser läuft seitlich am Siebträger runter. Habe eine Sage Barista Express. Immerhin hat die Lieferung funktioniert.

Habe das Produkt derzeit acht Wochen eingesetzt. Leider ist mit dem Wechsel der Kaffeesorte auch die Dichtigkeit verloren gegangen.Damit bin ich leider gezwungen, wieder ein neues Teil einzusetzen.

Long story short, it was hard to remove the original, I installed the screen on the new one, then pushed both pieces in place and fits perfectly, works like a charm.I did not realize how bad it was. Sometimes, if it ain't broke don't fix it, but this time, just to get a good cleanup, it was totally worth it. My Breville 860 is far from new, I replaced the valves ten years ago and the seals were original, so I decided to replace them.Removal was a bit hard, I improvised a bit too much and the tools were a bit too long, making it hard to manipulate. Once I had the seal freed all around, it was not too bad, but I damaged it while removing the original. O-ring pick tools may help if you can have one. It is pretty messy in there. I don't have any lime deposits because I use reverse osmosis water, which spares the valves $$$, pumps and tank. I thought that the cleanup capsule was for lime deposit, but they clean the filter inside too, so better not skip the cleanup sequence. I install the screen first to make sure the thin lip doesn't get crushed. I placed both part together in place, once it passes the portafilter grip, then it gets in easily. It makes a perfect seal, pour coffee like before, but the portafilter has a tighter fit, the old seal had a groove made over time so it is back to normal.
