30 Jahre altes Shimano Deore-DX-Lager ausgebaut und neues BB-UN300 BSA eingebaut. Der stabile Innenlagerschlüssel passte für beide Lager exakt.

Macht was er soll.Tretlager war fest geröstet, das Tretlager Gehäuse musste mittels eines Heißluftgebläse erwärmt werden.DanachTretlager ohne Schäden am Werkzeug entfernt.

This is a great item that is solid build quality, snuggly fits in the bottom bracket,and easy to use. It has a socket for attaching a torque wrench or you can grip with pliers.Good item that works well, and is value for money

Tried a cheaper BB tool on Amazon which did not fit the Shimano BB-UN300 (the most popular BB on the market), it didn't go in and was just ripping out the teeth if I tried to twist.This one fits deep and nicely! Perfect.NOTE: I'm talking about the black version. The photos show that the silver version has different geometry.

I'd changed Bottom Brackets before on my older MTB's, but my newer bike (Voodoo Canzo) is the first cartridge BB model I've owned and so as always a whole new load of tools are required...Anyway, gripes aside, this Bottom Bracket tool is needed to release the cartridge from the frame. So once I removed the crank with the puller and cleaned out the splines properly it worked perfectly. You stick it in the recess and use a spanner or ratchet to turn the collar until it's out. It feels very sturdy, which I like. I've had tools of this design for other applications which tend to get chewed up on their first or second outing.Be aware that the nut fixture on the end is very large so make sure you have big spanners or sockets available. Otherwise you have to use grips which have a tendency to ruin the shape and coating of the tool.Overall I like it! It does what I ask without making a fuss or breaking apart. The deliver was very quick and arrived safely.

I had the genuine shimano tool before which worked well but I have to say I prefer this because it has the option of the half inch square drive. This is really helpful as when used with a ratchet it’s easier to apply some forward pressure as you undo or do up the bottom bracket to stop the tool popping out. If this gets lost like the shimano one I’ll be buying this again.

Ich habe dieses Teil benutzt um die Kurbel vom Fahrrad meiner Frau abzuziehen. Hat super gepasst und direkt funktioniert. Material hat standgehalten obwohl ich ganz schön viel Kraft aufwenden musste.
