Pre glued, soft & thin, flexible silicone with a distinctive design. Nice size and thin enough to curve around a small diameter chainstay. Area was cleaned with isopropyl alcohol prior to fitting to aid adhesion. Fitting attempted at room temperature. The protective backing was removed, and it took the double sided tape with it, leaving nothing on the silicone to stick to the frame. This might be a one off incident, but without a second one to test it against I can't be certain. The exposed surface is very smooth and shiny, maybe making it textured like the upper surface would help the tape stick. Hopefully this can be rectified as the shape and design is appealing. If it worked as advertised it would be good value as a frame protector. It can still be attached with the aid of zip ties.

Like another reviewer I found that the adhesive came away with the backing paper, rendering this useless. I will admit I didn't think much of it even before trying to use it, you can buy a whole reel of helicopter tape for not much more, this is an unobtrusive product which stays put, and works, unlike this.
