Aus der Beschreibung kopiert: "Schreiben fließend und schneidet nicht das Papier"Die Realität ist aber, dass er beim Schreiben auf manchen Papieren sogar hängen bleibt, obwohl ich mit leichter Hand schreibe. Es finden sich Kratzer im Papier und an der Spitze sammeln sich Papierfasern. Somit tut der Stift genau das Gegenteil von dem was er angeblich soll.Optisch schön, erlaubt vergleichsweise langes Schreiben, ohne erneut Tinte aufnehmen zu müssen. Dies liegt auch mit daran, dass die Spitze extrem dünn ist und somit wenig Tinte verbraucht.Preis ist günstig, aber in Anbetracht der schlechten Schreibfunktion eben doch zu teuer. Ohne vorsichtiges Abschmiergeln/Polieren der Spitze wirklich auf Dauer unbrauchbar. Das hat auch nichts mehr mit einer Vorliebe für weiches oder hartes Schreiben zu tun, wenn das Papier beschädigt wird.Die Stieftablage sieht nicht aus wie auf dem Produktfoto. Dort sieht man ein Stück Bambus mit Blatt. Erhalten habe ich zwei Halbkugeln, die berühren...eben eine ganz simple Knochenform.

There were reviews posted of people who either got the pen shown in the listing, or a similar pen with a clear nib. I took a chance on ordering and got the all green pen. It's a lovely shade of green at that! The bamboo design on the handle even has a couple of leaf "buds" on the side! How cute is that? Furthermore, it actually writes quite well. I usually use bottled fountain pen ink since it tends to flow easily without blobbing, but I also tried some calligraphy ink I had and some India ink and the pen worked quite well with those. You can write several words with one dip, and the pen rinses easily (for the most part) with water. There are some thicker or more waterproof inks (if you let them dry) that might take some warm water and soap, but otherwise clean up is great when it comes to glass. The pen is very tactile, which is another way of saying it writes scratchy. Not scratchy where you keep skipping lines, but scratchy as hearing (and feeling) the sharp point of the pen upon paper. People into ASMR would probably love this. Others not so much. Especially the feeling part. I'm kind of indifferent either way. I am happy that the pen does write well enough that I can dash off several lines of poetry without having to re-dip. I am happy with how pretty this pen is. I hope I won't drop and break it, but if I do, I would order another one if its available. Which brings up the fact that is IS glass, and it can break. I've broken more than one glass pen knocking over a stand, or dropping it on the tile floor on the way to the sink. Usually the breaks are fairly clean because of the type of glass these pens are made of, but it still is broken glass, so maybe not for young children? The tip of the pen is also very sharp--so again, not for littles. I can see a careful 12 year old (and up) might like this if they have had experience with other dip pens. In addition to calligraphy use, and general writing, these pens are fun to draw with. That is, if you don't mind the scritchy-scritchyness of the thing.

Recently received my order.Pen is packed nicely in a foam insert in it's own box, then sent in a bubble envelope, so there were no fractures/breaks.Holds a fair amount of ink, and writes decently...slightly scratchy feeling, and you need to find the "sweet spot" to get a good flow.Bought this pen because I liked it esthetically, however it did NOT come with the bamboo themed pen rest, instead I got this cheap dollar store looking piece of clear glass as a pen rest that not match it at all...therefore only 3 stars.

Besonders die Dauer der Schreibfähigkeit nach der Tintenaufnahme ist beeindruckend. Man kann eine halbe DIN-A4 Seite vollschreiben, ohne erneut Tinte aufzufassen. Das zeigt, dass die Feder eine sehr gute Formgebung aufweist. Die Feder scheint auf der Korpus aufgeklebt zu sein, was aber nicht störend ist.
