Installation was easy enough and they spin remarkably easy!

These spin forever. My stock jockey wheels spun for less than two seconds. I’m no mechanic but I assume this means these guys have less resistance than the old ones. Easy installation, no discernible change in shifting, no discernible change in drivetrain noise. They also look sick! Some reviews seem to claim that these make a noticeable difference in shifting or ride quality. I think that’s a reach. But if you want a little bling on your derailleur, this is a cheap and easy add-on.

Old derailleurs need servicing too! My 1987 steel tube road bike is a Fuji "Palisade", and the Suntour derailleurs are fully functional. The lower guide wheel had chipped teeth, so I replaced the 35 year old 10-tooth with the Muqzi 11-tooth. (Prime numbers change the wear patterns, adding to chain life.)Other jockey wheels are made for a smaller diameter bolt. Muqzi is smart enough to make a part that fits the old larger bolt, and they include a bushing to use with the standard modern bolt. If you don't know the size of your bolt, order the Muqzi!

I replaced my OEM pulleys on a shimano azera rear derailleur (13T) with these pulleys and I could immediately feel the difference on my commuter bike. It was also more quiet. The OEM pulleys had gotten gunked up with dirty grease, and while i could have cleaned them, having sealed bearing pulleys is much nicer. I could not be happier and I am looking forward to many years of service from these- just like the aluminum alloy pulleys I have on my mountain bike.

Had to replace the pulley wheels on my Ultegra 9 speed derailer (11 tooth). These appear to be of good quality, aluminum construction which should hold up better than the original plastic wheels. The bearings spin much more freely than the original sleeve type bearings. Installation was easy. Only minor issue is increased drive train noise from the aluminum on steel contact, but drivetrain does seem to run noticeably smoother. Overall low cost and worthwhile upgrade.
