Son's derailer blew up. This replacement works and was able to get him going again. Easy to install.

Although rated for the number of teeth on my low gear, this derailed is too flimsy and jams the chain on the gear. I mean the bike locks up going uphill when I need low gear. I missed the return period or I would have definitely returned this.

After install and adjustment derailleur ran quite and smooth. Shimano quality!

I have a Shimano Tourney derailleur on my inexpensive ebike. I just got this one as a spare to hold until I inevitably smash the original. This unit is a little nicer than the one that came with the bike; it has aluminum alloy parts vs. the stamped steel and plastic on my original.The ad has conflicting information. In some places, it says this derailleur is for 6/7 speeds, in others, 7/8. I'm pretty sure the latter is correct. Of course this only matters if you are using this with a Shimano SIS indexed shifter.
