This silicone lubricant works a treat on multiple uses around the home. From plumbing, such as lubricating tap parts (I lubricated a tap spindle and the attaching tap screw, to make it easier to remove in the future), to servicing kitchen equipment, and lubricating o rings. Being food safe means you can effectively treat parts without a concern of poisoning. Two small safety sealed pots was received with two application brushes. To keep the rest of the contents as contamination free and fresh as possible; it may be wise to transfer a little dollop to a clean jar lid, another container, or simply take a little out using a clean spoon; to then work with this taken amount. The size of the pots surprised me because they are small. For many tasks, such a small quantity of lubricant is actually needed, that each pot will last for numerous jobs. It is the type of useful product which is well worth having to hand at home. You never know when some food safe silicone lubricant could be needed. As it can be used for so many situations and tasks. Whether a single one-off application, or a much more frequent requirement. The lubricant has a consistency which isn't too runny, nor too firm. Making it straightforward to remove some from its pot; easy to spread it out for good coverage, and for it to stay in the position it has been applied to.Being packaged in small pots means the lubricant is easy to store, and it limits the potential waste, should it not get fully used up in the 12 months after opening. Unopened, it appears to have a 3 year shelf life.Clean up for any lubricant which has ended up on fingertips or hands, can be done with soap and water. A paper towel or regular towel should also assist with cleaning up.

This is a review of Limini Silicone Grease - 114g Food Grade Lubricant Grease selling on Amazon for £9.98. It comes in 2 small pots and with two small brushes for application. Normal grease is a petroleum derivative and can damage plastic materials so silicone grease is the answer for plastic cogs and other moving parts and areas where it might come into contact with something you are going to eat. I used it on a slightly stiff and leaky ceramic valved bathroom tap handle and it worked well. Its clear and seems to be a good product though I have little to compare it with apart from some 3:1 silicone grease spray that was almost all spray and very little grease so it does well again that. Its about the same price as other ones on Amazon but is 114g rather than 100 which many are. I hesitate to give something 5 stars just for doing its job but you do seem to get a bit more for your money here.My rating scale:***** Excellent**** Very Good*** Good** OK* Poor

This silicone grease is good stuff, you get a decent amount for your money, the two pots of grease also come with handy application brushes which is a nice touch because this stuff can be messy to work with. The fact that it's food safe makes this grease ideal for use on kitchen appliances but it's also useful for a wide variety of other applications too.You really don't need to use a lot of this stuff, a little bit goes a long way and a it doesn't need to be reapplied very often meaning these two pots should last for ages.Overall this very useful stuff, you get a decent amount of it and it should last a while, recommended.

For some reason food grade silicon grease when it is supplied in tiny little tubes is outrageously expensive whereas when it arrives in little tubs it is reasonably affordable. This grease is excellent quality with clearly labelled components. Clean and clear a small amount goes a long way when lubrication O rings. I used this in a coffee machine to maintain the O rings in tip top condition. It works as it should.

I ordered this pair of 114g pots of silicone grease from the Amazon brand Limino. I've used it for two things - the first, my endless quest to stop the leack under the sink, and two, to loosen up a stainless steel kitchen handtool. I've got two tubs of the stuff which means I will probably never need to buy grease like this again! I appreciate that it is two small tubs rather then one big tub as it means one can sit, untouched and still sealed, while I use up the first one.The first job - putting on a join on some pipes - was a bit messy - certainly messier that the spray option that I have used in the past. the little brushes are a handy ad-on, however they do given a thicker layer than than the spray-type. The finished effect however was perfectly good. The second job was to loosen up a stainless steel tool which is supposed make noodles and 'shaped snacks, sort of a sausage-maker type set up. Here, was where it suddenly becasue important that the grease was 'food grade'. Becasue traces of it would almost certainly be left as residue on the steel mechanism (no reside would equal no smoothness to the mechanism). Again it was a little messy but the handle did turn better in the end. Better still I could finally get the lid off the 'storage handle,' which I had been afraid to force off as the steel was extemely sharp on the edges. At £9.99 its handy to have around and I'm sure I'll find additional uses. The fact it is food grade means I won't hesitate to use, I probably would have persevered with the kitchen tool without it, taking 10-15 mins extra to complete my task every time. Saving time on the task saves money in the long run!Five stars.THe se
