I had to cut a large chunk of it off, which was actually great because now I can use the rest of it for other lengths! I needed an additional cable for my pulley system as I needed to extend for low rows as well as the high rows that it already has. This cable is super solid and it comes with everything you need to set it up. It took a while to cut the cable to shorten it, which is a good thing because it speaks to the rigidity of the cable itself.

I like the fact that they supply this as custom length. One end has the ball to stop it sliding through the pulley, and has a small hole for a carabiner. The other end is just bare wire, and they provide two clamps and a small spanner, and a small protective u-shaped clip. Assembly is very quick and easy, just route The cable through the first pulley that you will be seeing, where you want the ball joint to stop, and the route it through everything else, so that it eventually ends up towards the weight stack. Once you have that length that you need, pass it through the final carabiner, and slide the two clamps on. You can either open the clamp fully and attach it across the two ends of the cable, or you can slide it on, and then once it's on the nearer side, slide the distal end through the clamps, because in some machines this might be easier. I am using this for a custom pulley setup in the rack, and no fixed lengths are the right size, so with this I can get that extra overhang, and then make it just tight enough so I don't have any slack that I don't want. The first clamp needs to be really close and really tight so that it doesn't slide off the metal clip, and the second one needs to be but up to the first one or close enough, so that it's providing some extra friction. I tested it with a good amount of weight, around my body weight just under 100 kilos, and they claim about 140 kilos of strength. I don't have 140 kg pulling ability, but it definitely tolerated 100. For the price I recommend it for sure
