For analysing your golf swing, this is a great concept as you get an instant visual track of how your swing is going.The lightweight mat comes with 4 pegs to secure it in to a patch of grass in your garden, which keeps it flat and holds it securely. For indoor use there are velcro strips that can be used to secure it to your carpet, although this is not as effective as the garden peg method.The mat itself is constructed from hundreds of green coloured sequins, which when disturbed by the swing path of your golf club (any club can be used but I found irons worked best) flip over to reveal a white "track". It's the angle of this track that shows you which way your swing is going and if it's off centre in any way then you can practice correcting your errors.It's a good concept that works quite well. Obviously, it won't help you physically correct your swing, that's down to you via lots of practice and adjustments!The claims are this mat is good for over 5000 swings (or impacts on the mat). How true this is I don't know. It's a lot of heavy impacting on fragile fitted sequins. So far mine is holding out but it's already showing signs of use after only a few hundred swings, but none have dislodged yet.The set also comes with 3 plastic golf balls, but these aren't required for use.
